Lu-Chia Chao grew up in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. In 2001, she graduated from Tainan University of Technology’s Fine Art Department and worked as a teaching assistant in the same school until 2014. She will earn her MFA in Painting at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, CA, in 2018. Her show has been held twice a year in different cities and galleries in Taiwan every year since 2003. Maintain solo exhibitions twice a year and keep joining some Art-Fairs in different cities and countries.
Because Lu-Chia grew up in Asia, therefore, the background of the Oriental philosophy of life and education, deeply influenced her work. She creates abstract paintings, good at using neutral colors and various linear quality to create her artistic language.
